drawn while i was at AWA, without any reference.
i was thinking that all the white space around her was really boring, that it needed something...like some kind of antiqued look would look bitchin'. but i decided i'd save that for later and just color aerith herself until i could figure something out.
that saturday night at the con, while packing my table up for the night, i accidentally spilled a coke all over the top half of the picture because the stupid tables were uneven. i thought "CRAP CRAP CRAP IT'S RUINED NOOOO -- hey...wait...that actually looks kind of cool."
so, after bringing it home, i dumped coke on the lower half of it too. ;D
copic multiliners, prismacolor markers, prismacolor colored pencils, and coca-cola on 9x12" vellum bristol.
