one of the hand-drawn signs i used at AWA09. the original is about 10.5" tall.

lanna advertised my posters and prints.

drawn on vellum bristol, inked with copic multiliners, colored with prismacolor markers and colored pencils.
background added with photoshop CS3.

Quick question.. you might know, might not.. but I was wonder why they wear their fox mask on the side of their heads so often.

there are a lot of masks from traditional japanese noh plays that represented certain characters and demons...i'm not sure if there's any significance to the kitsune mask being worn so often today compared to the others, though. maybe people just like the way it looks!
