I have a question for you concerning the livestream vids.

On the video where you're coloring her skin, as you're going your pen is obviously going past her lines, but the 'ink' is not going past the lines.

Is that a special setting in painter or have you created a mask for each layer or some such?

I spend a ridiculous amount of time having to erase overspill so I was wondering if this was something I could do to speed up my process and if it was something I could do in Painter 7...:)

Thanks in advance for answering!

in the layers palette, there should be a checkbox for "preserve transparency" -- i don't think i could live without it!

I also forgot to ask another question...I hope these are all OK...:)

I always thought that you masked the inks in PS to change their color like you did over Giselle's eyes. Apparently not...:)
I can't tell what brush you're using to do it though. Can you explain to me what brush you are using to do that? Seriously, thank you for everything!

that's fine!

i can't remember which one i was using at the time, but i'm sure it was either the scratchboard tool pen (for solid color) or my custom brush (for gradients - [link] )
