this was done for the 2011 SAKURA exhibition, a japanese art show revolving around the theme of sakura (cherry blossoms): [link]
the exhibition has been in tokyo for the past couple months, and will be moving to the excy gallery in NYC on june 3.
on the final day of the exhibition (june 16,) all the pieces will be sold for charity, with all proceeds to be donated to the japanese red cross for the tohoku earthquake victims. so if you'll be in NYC around then, please consider buying some art!!
