I) Where did you learn to draw?

Ia) I’m mostly self-taught. Lots of observation, experimentation, and practice!

II) How long does it take you to draw something?

IIa) Depends on the picture, and most of my pieces aren’t done in a single sitting. (Commissions, especially, as each step requires approval)
As a very rough estimate, I’d say ~4-8 hours on average...

III) Will you make a tutorial on coloring(/drawing/etc)?

IIIa) Sorry, but for the moment I will not be posting any tutorials on dA -- please check comictutorials.com if you're really interested! [link]

IV) Will you post a bigger version of one of your pics? It’s too tiny to see any details!

IVa) Sorry, but no, I post small resolutions on purpose to avoid art theft. I try to post links to detail shots in the descriptions of some images, though.
If you reaaaally like an image, you could always consider buying a print...:D.............

V) Can I use your artwork for something?

Va) Depends...
If the use is strictly personal (like a desktop wallpaper for yourself,) sure. No permission needed.
If the use is public but nonprofit, I generally don’t mind, as long as proper credit is given.
If the use involves any profit, please contact me for permission before using my work.
If you’re unsure, it’s usually best to ask first. Thanks!!

VI) Do you do art trades?

VIa) I’m sorry, but right now I don’t really have the time to...

VII) Do you take commissions?

VIIa) For personal commissions, please check this entry for availability: [link]
For professional art inquiries, please email me or send a note. Thanks!

VIII) Do you have any advice for aspiring artists?

VIIIa) If art is what you truly enjoy doing, don’t ever give up on it -- I believe motivation is more important than anything else, even raw talent.
Don’t expect masterpiece results overnight; everyone had to start somewhere (and great artists never stop learning!) It’s good to have goals, but at the same time, take pleasure in studying, practicing, experimenting with new techniques, and so on.
Take criticism with a grain of salt. Seeing everything as a learning opportunity leads to more growth than always being on the defensive.

feel free to note me if you have any other questions!
